TALISMAN In Chinese culture, the Talisman are thought to be originated for the spirits and they had a lot of respect for them. To receive the blessing of the Talisman, one had to follow a ritual and then place ot onthe gate or door. Talisman was a magical figure or object which had an engraved figure or symbol which was thought to preserve the bearer from harm and bring good luck.
